City of Placentia releases Notice of Inviting Sealed Bids for Landscape Maintenance Services.
BIDS ARE DUE: Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. City of Placentia – Office of the City Clerk – 401 E. Chapman Ave., Placentia, CA 92870
Bids will be opened shortly thereafter by the Public Works Department in the Administrative Conference Room.

SCOPE OF WORK:
Contractor shall furnish all necessary materials, labor, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to provide the full complement of landscape maintenance services. The equipment, supplies, and material shall be of good quality and in the amounts necessary. The general items of work include landscape maintenance, landscape and irrigation repairs, park maintenance, and trash collection. The project includes 15 Parks, 11 Parkways, 12 Medians and 74 Entry Islands.
BID ITEMS INCLUDE:
• Daily – General Maintenance
• Weekly – Weed Control & Irrigation System Maintenance
• Bi Weekly – Turf Grass & Landscape Maintenance
• Monthly – Pest/Rodent Control
• Annual – 1 Fertilization
COMPLETION OF WORK:
Contractor shall commence work following the date specified in the written notice to proceed from the City. The term of this contract shall be for three years with two potential one-year extensions based on contractor performance and at the sole discretion of the City Administrator.
