Description of Project: Upgrades to IRWD’s existing IIC East Zone A to B recycled water pump station include adding a new pump, pump motor (150 HP), piping, check valve, instrumentation, and air-relief valves, and replacement of four pump motors (150 HP), MCC including two VFD’s and three SST’s, PLC, switchgear, HVAC, 24-inch magnetic meter, 6-inch PRV, axial fan, SCE transformer, and associated appurtenances. Site work includes replacement of asphalt pavement, fencing, bollards, and removal of interfering landscaping. The pump station will be taken offline between July and August 2019 to accommodate portions of the work.

Engineer’s Estimate: $1,600,000 (One Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars)
Pre-Bid Meeting: A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 6,
2018 at 9:00 AM. The meeting will be held at the pump station site, located at 6747 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine. Vehicles should park at the IRWD Sand Canyon Headquarters, 15600 Sand Canyon Avenue, Irvine. Bidders may then walk to the pump station site (see map).
