Irvine Ranch Water District
Fall sessions of the ever-popular Resident Tours.
Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15. Michelson Water Recycling Plant, 3512 Michelson Drive, Irvine
Learn about the recycled water process with a laboratory demonstration and walking tour of the Michelson Water Recycling Plant. Gain an understanding about your drinking water, watershed stewardship and water use efficiency, while enjoying camaraderie with your neighbors. These free tours are available to those who work or live within the IRWD service area. Tours begin promptly at 9 a.m. and conclude approximately 1:30 p.m. Also included in the itinerary is a bus trip to the San Joaquin Reservoir and lunch and a tour of the San Joaquin Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary.
Visitors will gain valuable information about the water system, sewage treatment, recycled water use and conservation tips. These tours are popular and fill up quickly. They are available first-come, first-served based on the date we receive your reservation. We are unable to accommodate children less than 16 years of age.
