ADDENDUM ISSUED for IRWD Project: Irvine Business Center Appurtenance Reloctions
The bidder is directed to make the following corrections, deletions, and/or additions to the contract documents heretofore dispensed to bidder for the above project; and to note bidder’s receipt of this addendum by number on Bid Form 8 of 12 in the Contract Specifications:
PROJECT MANUAL
To Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals (Bids): DELETE “A pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at the hour of 2:00 PM on September 13, 2016…”, and REPLACE with “A pre-bid meeting will be held at the hour of 10:00 AM on September 13, 2016….”
CLARIFICATION:
The Time of Performance of 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of mailing of the
Notice of Award on the Bid Advertisement is incorrect. The Contract Time of 150 calendar days from the date of the Notice of Award in the Project Manual Agreement, Bonds, and Insurance section is correct.

Bid Opening Date Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.:
Location of Opening: Irvine Ranch Water District 15600 Sand Canyon Avenue, Irvine, CA 92618
Description of Project: Removal and replacement of existing fire line backflow preventers, vaults, meters, fire hydrants, water services, mainline valves, post indicator valves and fire department connections. Construction will include demolition, removal, potholing, trenching, traffic control, pipe installation, trench back fill, paving repairs, slurry seal and restriping.
Time of Performance: 120 consecutive calendar days from date of mailing the Notice of Award
Engineer’s Estimate: Three Hundred Sixty-Seven Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($367,300)
Pre-Bid Meeting: A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM
