A Tract Map has just been recorded for the newest neighborhood in the Shea Baker Development.The Peak neighborhood is being built byShea Homes, long known for their exceptional quality. When complete The Peak will consist of 102 single family homes priced from the mid $600,000s. There will be 3 different models all with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and Approx. 1,578 – 1,671 sq. ft. The models are expected to be complete by early summer 2015 and 8 of the 10 homes have been pre sold for phase 1! Shea homes built identical homes in The Knolls neighborhood, also in the Shea Baker Development. The Knolls is nearly sold out with only 1 lot remaining of 85 lots built.
The Shea Baker development is on the City of Lake Forest’s northeast side next to Irvine. The project is bordered by the 241 toll road on the north, Bake Parkway, Dimension, Alton and what will be the expansion of Rancho Parkway on the south and unincorporated land on the west.
When complete the Shea Baker Ranch development will contain 2379 homes with at least 20 new neighborhoods. The California style homes, condos and apartments are being built on land that was once under the flight path of the former El Toro Marine base. There will be seven neighborhood parks, one of which will include a dog park, two linear parks and a 7-acre community park. At least 25,000 square feet of commercial space is also planned.
The landscaping and parks will make the development exclusive and unique. All parks will be connected by trails. Residents and the public will be able to hike the community on loops that range from three to eight miles. The project will also include a diversity of housing but maintain the character of Lake Forest by offering more traditional homes with back yards and driveways.
