690 acres of land near Ortega Hwy and Antonia Blvd. is being developed by Rancho Mission Viejo LLC . The residential project called “Sandero” is scheduled to open in summer 2013.
Some 940 new homes are slated to be built in the project along with 200 apartments. Nine builders have been selected to work on the project, which includes three O.C. based homebuilders William Lyons Homes, Standard Pacific Corp, and Tri-Pointe Homes. Joining those companies are SeaCountry Homes, Shea Homes, Pulte group, Meritage Homes Corp. and Ryland Homes.
This project represents the first batch of new homes built by Rancho Mission Viejo LLC since it stopped building at it’s Ladera Ranch Master Planned community 5 years ago.
