ARTIC The $188 million transportation hub is a 67,000-square-foot, three-story terminal building that will redefine the skyline between Honda Center and Angel Stadium. ARTIC stands for Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center and will serve AMTRAK and Metrolink rail passengers, OCTA bus service, tour and charter buses, taxis and a bicycle-sharing program. The City of Anaheim released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to support operations at the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), which will open later this year. The City is seeking a firm to manage the venue’s routine, preventive and major maintenance services at a level consistent with other world class venues in the City. Responsibilities of the selected major maintenance company will include but are not limited to building engineering services and HVAC, Energy Management System (EMS), escalator and elevator, plumbing, electrical, roof, and grounds/landscaping routine, preventive and major maintenance services, as well as coordinating with the Property Manager and other service providers and related vendors. The most qualified respondent, as chosen through a competitive procurement process, will enter into a five year agreement with the City, with optional extensions. Click HERE to learn more. ARC Anaheim Rapid Connection (ARC) is a proposed streetcar system currently in the environmental review process that will connect Anaheim area destinations with regional rail at ARTIC. With ARC, it will never be easier for residents and conventioneers to catch a ball game, out-of-towners to get to Disneyland, residents to dine at the Anaheim Garden Walk, or thousands of employees to get to and from work – all without having to drive.
