Additionally a fire resistant home is coming to California. The home will have a metal roof and it won’t have an attic or soffit vents. Napa-based architect Brendan Kelly says it will be “impregnable” using pre-fabricated steel framing wrapped in noncombustible insulation from BONE Structure.

This is because, on average, the construction of a small house using traditional methods fills a minimum of three waste containers of 40 cubic meters!
