Backs Community Center ADA Improvement Project

Project No. 2016-18

Bids Due: Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the City Clerk’s Office and will be opened shortly thereafter by the Public Works Department in the Administrative Conference Room.

Pre-Bid Meeting: There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference held at the Backs Community Center located at 201 North Bradford Avenue, Placentia, CA 92870 on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.

Scope of work: Providing all labor, materials and equipment to complete ADA renovations to the Backs Community Center. Items included

  • Demolition work
  • Reconstruction of existing restrooms to meet ADA standards
  • New ADA compliant path of travel at the exterior of the building
  • Other interior and exterior building improvements.

Engineer’s estimate:   $180,000.
