Description of Project: This project will construct miscellaneous improvements at nine separate locations within the San Joaquin Marsh (SJM) to increase water recirculation and improve overall operations. The SJM is located between Campus Drive and Michelson Drive near the San Diego Creek in Irvine. The SJM improvements will include: replacement of submersible pumps and a motor control center; miscellaneous piping and electrical and signal and control improvements; installation of an owner-provided automated 20-inch strainer; installation of motor operated flow control valves, battery powered and hard wired magnetic flow meters, ultrasonic flow meters and a vault lid hatch.
Time of Performance: 180 consecutive calendar days from date of mailing the Notice of Award
Engineer’s Estimate: One million thirty thousand dollars ($1,030,000)
Pre-Bid Meeting: A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the IRWD Operations Center, 3512 Michelson Drive,
Irvine, CA 92612. There will be a job walk following the meeting at the various improvement
