Placentia Avenue Rehabilitation Project

Bids due: Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the City Clerk’s Office and will be opened shortly thereafter by the Public Works Department in the Administrative Main Conference Room No. 1.
Scope of work: providing all labor, materials and equipment to complete street rehabilitation project of Placentia Avenue from Chapman Avenue to Ruby Drive. This work involves traffic control, existing pavement removal, roadway reconstruction, removal and reconstruction of portions of PCC curb and gutter, cross gutter, sidewalk, driveway, and curb ramp, root pruning under the direction of a certified arborist, adjustment of various cans and frames and manholes to grade, and the replacement of traffic detector loops and existing painted pavement striping, markings, raised pavement markers and signs, and all items not mentioned but included in the plans and specifications.
Engineer’s estimate: $1,274,190
This project is a federally assisted contract. Federal Labor Standards Provisions, including prevailing wage requirements of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, will be enforced.
