Bid Opening Date and Time: Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016, 2:00 PM PST
Location of Opening: Irvine Ranch Water District, 15600 Sand Canyon Avenue, Irvine, CA 92618
Description of Project: The work includes drilling of three groundwater extraction wells, construction of well pads, wellhead equipping, pipeline facilities, turn-out facility from the Kern County Water Agency (KCWA) Cross Valley Canal (CVC) and turn-in facility to the KCWA CVC return pipeline. The wellhead equipping includes installation of vertical turbine pumps, motors, discharge head, well pump base, valves, meters, concrete work, electrical equipment, instrumentation, fencing, well pump enclosures, and appurtenances. The pipeline facilities include approximately 750 LF of 16- inch to 24-inch CML&C steel pipe, 3,200 LF of 20-inch to 24-inch PVC,1,900 LF of 36-inch to 60-inch RCP, grading, valves, appurtenances, meters, slide gates, concrete work, and cutoff walls.
Time of Performance:540 consecutive calendar days from date of mailing the Notice of Award
Engineer’s Estimate: Seven Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($7,800,000)
Pre-Bid Meeting A manadory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on Thursday, January 28th, 2016 at 10:30 AM, at the Project Site located off Stockdale Highway in the City of Bakersfield.
