CITY OF GARDEN GROVE- Releases New RFP
BROOKHURST STREET REHABILITATION -PROJECT NO. 7270
(CHAPMAN AVENUE TO KATELLA AVENUE)
Sealed Bids, marked “BROOKHURST STREET REHABILITATION, PROJECT NO. 7270” will be received by the City Clerk in the City Hall, 11222 Acacia Parkway, Garden Grove, California until 11:00 AM, on August 14, 2014, at which time they will be publicly opened in the North Conference Room in City Hall (1st floor).
The project generally consists of developing and implementing construction best management practices in accordance with an approved SWPPP. Scope of work includes:
- Providing traffic control;
- Removal and replacement of PCC sidewalk, curb & gutter, median curbs, cross- gutter, spandrels, access curb ramps and bus pads
- Roadway rehabilitation by full depth reclamation and pavement grinding, grading, off haul of excess base material, cement treatment of recycled base material
- Pavement cold milling,
- Construction of asphalt concrete base courses and asphalt rubber hot mix (ARHM) surface courses;
- Adjustment of surface utilities to finish grade
- Relocating traffic signal pull boxes; reestablishment of centerline monuments;
- Installation of video detection system
- Replacement of painted traffic striping and raised pavement markers
- Replacement of traffic signal loops, Redflex loops
