PROJECT BACKGROUND

IRWD provides water service to the Orange Park Acres community.  As a result of the June 2008 annexation, the former Orange Park Acres Mutual Water Company is now the Orange Park Acres Service Area within IRWD.  Due to the age and deteriorating condition of the existing well, IRWD demolished the under-producing well and plans to drill a new one on the same site located on North Gravier in the City of Orange. When the project is complete, water will be pumped from this well and used for drinking water purposes throughout the Orange Park Acres service area
