Description of Project: This project will rehabilitate approximately 3,800 feet of existing sewer pipe from 8- to 15-inches in diameter at various locations in the cities of Irvine, Newport Beach, and Lake Forest. The scope of work will include cleaning and installation of cure-in-place liners to rehabilitate existing sewer pipes. The contractor will be responsible for providing traffic control and sewer bypassing as required to perform the work. The project will also include approximately 50 feet of open cut replacement of 8-inch vitrified clay sewer pipe.
Time of Performance: 130 consecutive calendar days from date of mailing the Notice of Award.
Engineer’s Estimate: Two hundred twenty-one thousand one hundred fifty dollars ($221,150)
Pre-Bid Conference: There will be non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 10:00 am at IRWD Operations Center, 3512 Michelson Drive, Irvine, CA 92612.
