Engineer’s Estimate: One million five hundred ninety-three thousand dollars ($1,593,000.00)
Pre-Bid Conference: There will be non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at IRWD Operations Center, 3512 Michelson Drive, Irvine, CA 92612. There will be a site visit after the pre-bid meeting.
Description of Project: This project will replace a 36-inch cement mortar lined and coated steel header pipe for the MWRP Filter Pump Station 2 (FPS2) and install new owner-supplied valves and a flow meter on the pipeline. FPS2 conveys between 11-22 MGD of secondary treated sewage to the tertiary filters. The construction will require the installation and operation of a bypass pumping system and the sequenced demolition and construction of the header in segments to insure continuous operation of MWRP during the project.
