NEW! Single-footprint multifunction system
The Océ PlotWave 500 printing system is a productive monochrome multifunction printing system in a space saving, single footprint design. The optional top-mounted Scanner Express II provides seamless scanning and copying capabilities. Thanks to the Océ ClearConnect multi-touch user panel, first introduced in 2014 with the Océ PlotWave 340/360 printing systems, operation is as easy as using a tablet or smartphone. Walk-up users will appreciate the ability to access technical document files from their cloud of choice, preview files on the color screen, and print, all from the printer’s color touchscreen.
With capacity of up to 4 rolls of media and speed of 10 D-size prints per minute, it’s ideal for mid-volume (MV) printing environments,
including larger workgroups of CAD professionals or more centralized departmental printing.
Océ PlotWave 500 printing system is positioned between the Océ PlotWave 360 and Océ PlotWave 750 printing systems. The Océ PlotWave 500 is targeted at environments printing up to 25K Sq.Ft./Month, while the Océ PlotWave 750 is targeted at environments printing up to 60K Sq.Ft./Month, and the Océ PlotWave 360 is targeted at lower volume environments printing up to 10K Sq.Ft./Month.
New, and different from the Océ PlotWave 750, the Océ PlotWave 500 offers faster print speed, single footprint design and ClearConnect user interface panel, as well as an embedded controller, and integrated cloud printing and scanning. The Océ PlotWave 500 does not replace the Océ PlotWave 750, which continues in the product line.
