Irvine Ranch Water District Released a New RFP for Prequalified select Bidders

Manning and Portola Zone 9 Booster Pump Station Generator Project Site LocationThe new project is the Manning and Portola Zone 9 Booster Pump Station Generator Project.  The Booster Pump Station Generator Project includes two (2) separate sites; one within theCity of Lake Forest, and one in Modjeska Canyon, California:

— Portola Booster Pump Station- 18967 Saddleback Ranch Road I near the intersection of Saddleback Ranch Road and Cedar Ridge Road, City of Lake Forest

— Manning Booster Pump Station- 27989 Modjeska Canyon Road I near the intersection of Modjeska Canyon Road and Santiago Canyon Road

Major components of the Booster Pump Station Permanent Generators Project include, but are not limited to the following:

 

Pmiola BPS

  • Demolition required for the proposed improvements  generally including removal of items such as gravel, AC, fencing, landscaping, irrigation
  • Erosion control and compliance with RWQCB requirements during construction
  •  Maintain pump station facilities in service during construction
  • Site excavation, grading, and compaction
  • Furnish and install permanent electrical emergency generator set with diesel engine, enclosure and integral 24-hour fuel storage on a concrete pad foundation
  • Site electrical, instrumentation and control
  • Electrical conduits, wiring, connections, install owner-furnished triple switch to power two existing 60-horsepower pumps from a permanent electric generator, generator interface to SCADA and 120 volt panel board, remove conductors to existing portable generator connection box.
  • Site improvements, including concrete pad foundation for generator, CMU block wall, miscellaneous landscaping repairs, AC and gravel resurfacing, and fencing Vicinity Mapdamaged during construction.

Manning BPS

  • Demolition required for the proposed improvements generally includes clearing and grubbing, removal of items such as gravel and concrete flatwork, CMU block retaining walls, landscaping, irrigation, piping, valves and appurtenances, chain link fencing and gates, and electrical and communications  panels
  • Erosion control and compliance with RWQCB requirements during construction
  • Maintain pump station facilities in service during construction
  • Traffic control if lanes are shut down for deliveries
  • Site excavation and grading
  • Install owner-furnished permanent electrical emergency generator set with diesel engine, enclosure and integral 24-hour fuel storage on a concrete pad foundation
  • Site electrical, instrumentation and control
  • Electrical conduits, wiring, connections, automatic transfer switch, and install owner­ furnished triple switch to power existing two existing 50-hp pumps from a
  • permanent electric generator
  • Site improvements, including reinforced concrete retaining wall, concrete pad foundation for generator integral with reinforced concrete retaining wall, masonry block wall, grading, drainage improvements and miscellaneous concrete, landscaping repairs, and gravel resurfacing
  • Cement mortar lined and coated steel pipe drain line, check valves, and butterfly valves with motor operators, owner-furnished  static mixer.add
