The City of Garden Grove has a Street Rehab RFP

THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE HAS A STREET REHAB RFPThe three arterial street rehabilitation project NO. 7266 encompasses the following areas:

— WESTMINSTER  AVENUE (BROOKHURST  STREET TO BOWEN STREET)

— CHAPMAN AVENUE (NELSON AVENUE TO EUCLID STREET)

— GARDEN GROVE BOULEVARD (MAGNOLIA STREET TO GILBERT STREET)

The   project proposed by the City of Garden Grove  generally  consists  of   developing  and   implementing  construction  best management  practices  in   accordance  with    an   approved  SWPPP;   providing traffic control; removal and  replacement of  PCC sidewalk, decorative median paving, curb  & gutter, median curbs, cross-gutter, spandrels, access  curb  ramps, local  depression and bus  pads;   roadway rehabilitation  by  full  depth   reclamation and  pavement grinding, grading, haul-off of  excess  base  material, cement treatment of  recycled base  material and  also  rehabilitation by  removal and  replacement  of  the   street structural section; pavement cold  milling, construction of  asphalt concrete base  courses, installation of pavement fabric   and  asphalt rubber hot  mix   (ARHM) surface courses; adjustment of surface  utilities to  finish  grade; reestablishment of centerline monuments; replacement of  painted traffic striping and  raised  pavement markers, replacement of  traffic signal loops, tree  installation and  other items not  mentioned above  that are  required by  the plans  and specifications.

The deadline for submittal is July 29th,2013.
