Rancho Mission Viejo is moving ahead with the second phase of the Sendero Development near Ortega Hwy and San Antonio Parkway. Their plan is to add another 3000 homes and apartments. Single family home prices range from $240,000 –$400,000. Phase One will include 1226 homes and apartments. – Gavilan, a gated haven designed for the 55+ crowd, and the Sendero neighborhoods for families, couples and singles. Amenities such as home-care services and lifetime home warranties are being considered to appeal to the older buyer.
Eight homebuilders, including three based in Orange County are handling construction at Sendero.
The first residents are expected to begin moving into the community in August or September.
